The Challenge
To celebrate 140 years of Mercedes-Benz, Mercedes-Benz Germany launched its global 140 Years, 140 Places World Tour, visiting destinations around the world that reflect the diversity of the brand and the people who drive it.
New Zealand was selected as one of those destinations.
A production team travelled from Germany to document the New Zealand leg of the tour, requiring a reliable vehicle capable of supporting an extended journey from Auckland to Queenstown and back while transporting both personnel and production equipment.
The vehicle would become part of the story, travelling some of New Zealand's most iconic roads as the team captured content for the global campaign.
Our Solution
Working alongside Mercedes-Benz New Zealand, Cross Country supplied a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter for the New Zealand leg of the tour.
The vehicle was prepared for extended nationwide travel, giving the production team the confidence to complete their itinerary while travelling between filming locations across the country.
Supported by our nationwide network, assistance was available throughout the journey if required.
Delivering the Project
Our role was to ensure the production team had dependable transport from the moment they arrived in New Zealand.
This included:
